He got 27 points along with 5 rebounds in the semifinals. Delphino should come over next year and should play SG. Many scouts have said that if he didn't get hurt so close to the draft, or if he came out this year he would be an automatic lottery pick. In the game there were many other promising prospects. Milos Vujanic, a top flight prospect, only scored 12 points in the game. Delphino's stats for the year were 12.8 points per game(on 43.9% shooting), along with 6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.9 steals.

Pistons News:

Pistons News: Memhet Okur has reportedly said that he doesn't want to remain a Piston if his playing time remains so low. Okur will become a Restricted Free Agent this offseason. Okur is a promising big man, but Larry Brown doesn't seem to feel that Memo gives 100% on the defensive end, so he doesn't give him as many minutes as his production might warrant. This also leads to the puzzling placement of Corliss Williamson as a power forward. Corliss is to small for that so we are more effective with Memo at the 4 and Corliss at the 3. Brown still seems to be trying to teach Okur a lesson. In the playoffs I don't understand this, it may cost us games down the road.

Lions Draft: In the second part of the draft we may have found some hidden gems.

5th round: Alex Lewis ILB Wisconsin, Lewis is a speedy linebacker(forty in the 4.5's) who should be a sub and a special teamer for his first year. Later on he may become a strong safety due to the fact that he is undersized for a ILB.

6th round: Kelly Butler OT Purdue, He might be the steal of the draft. Butler was ranked as the number 3 tackle in the draft, on talent, his stock fell though due to character issues. He got into a fight with a frat pledge after hearing that the pledge assaulted another frat member. This fact along with another fight nearer to the draft made his stock drop. This extremely talented tackle should back up Backus and McDougal and may see time at RG.

Undrafted: As of this time I only know one important signing, Jason Fife QB from Oregon. Fife may be learning from Mirer for the long term, or he could be Mike McMahon's ticket out of town. Fife had a fairly successful career at Oregon.
Other people the Lions are rumored to be pursuing include Shannon Snell OG Florida and Kyle Larson P Nebraska.

Lions Draft: So far the Lions are drafting better the anyone. We traded down our 1st with Cleveland and picked up a 2nd rounded, then we traded our 2nd, a 4th, and next years fifth for Kansas City's 1st.

So here's how it turned out.
#7 overall(from Cleveland): Roy Williams Wr Texas, He is 6 foot 3, he ran a 4.37 second forty, and he weighs 225lbs. He should line up across from C. Rodgers. Roy has great hands and should be a future Pro-Bowl caliber player.

#30 overall(from Kansas City): Kevin Jones Rb VTech, 6'1", 4.67 at the combine, but has been clocked as fast a 4.27. This year he should split time with A. Pinner, but in the future he could be a 1300-1500yard per year back.

#37overall(from Cleveland):Teddy Lehman Olb Oklahoma, 6'2", 4.55 forty, 240lbs. Should play weak-side Linebacker opposite our other fast LB Boss Baily. Teddy should be a solid player for years to come.

#73 overall: Keith Smith CB McNeese St., 6',4.40 forty. He will compete with Andre Goodman and Chris Cash for the Nickle back position. Cash may be moved to safety, with our CB depth.
